Hi,

I'm working on a player which has mechanical problems. When trying to move up the turning mechanism with the laser, it becomes really difficult about half way up. I need to have a closer look at the moving parts. How do I seperate the metal unit (the one that holds the turning mechanism, laser and spindle motor) from the plastic unit with the gears?

I found it, it is a little hook similar to the ones that hold the tray in.
