Just get my CLD-959 today !
So beautiful and everything is working perfectly !
Except that the player is doing loud of rotating sound, especially on the B side playing. The sound is going low after 10 min of playing.
Maybe I should just play many time LDs for fix the problem ? Or there is a better way ?

Yeah, you may find it goes away with some use. You may also need a spindle. Hopefully not.

Certain discs will be louder than others. CAVs won’t get quieter. CDVs will sound like an industrial fan.

The player is warranty for 3 month, then I will try to use it a lot to see if it get better.

Ok, after one week of intensive use, face A has acceptable sound, face B too loud on most of discs and CD plays is absolutly silent.
About the image, It is maybe one of the best player I ever see. I have to say that he is better on most of discs than my HLD-X0 was. Certainly because my HLD-X0 was misaligned ?

In the future it could be great to change the spindle to have a perfectly silent player.
Do you know how to find such a piece in Japan ? Is it difficult to change it by myself, or should I let Pioneer do it for me ?

ther's a seller from South Korea on eBay selling different players, he had an X9 on ebay for long time, looks like he finally sold it this summer?
