I've acquired a CLD-D702 but it's missing the remote. What remote did it originally come with or what remotes would be recommended that are actually somewhat often available on eBay and etc.?

I found an old post here from 2012 recommending the CU-CLD117 or 120 but I don't see either available for sale.

The proper model remote you need is the CU-CLD068.

It’s actually a pretty common remote and there is one available on eBay right now for $50. If you feel that is too high (I have gotten them for $30 in the past), just be patient and wait for a lower priced one to show up.

You should check the Hardware Database first: Pioneer CLD-D702

Ha, thanks! I actually did look at its page but didn't notice that. Whoops.

No worry!

I'll add lot more remote control info soon and working on the "PARTS" section to be able to display pictures of each remote and if they are shared with other similar players.
