See what others say, I would use something like lighter fluid or rubbing alcohol but it may mess up the rubber. So please wait for others to chime in. |

You have to remove the tray and disassemble the loading mechanism, removing the gears, cleaning off the old grease using a paper towel or something like that. Removing the gears from the posts and cleaning the gear holes and the posts and adding the lithium grease. When you put it back together get the timing mark correct and get the tray back in on the correct tooth. It will take some time to do this. |

i was strongly considering a CLD-91/92/3070 for a time there, before deciding to be fully satisfied with the immediate previous TOTL model 3030. seeing how much of a protracted hassle this 2nd-gen. auto-side-changing series appears to be to work on, well, now i'm rather glad i never ended up pulling the trigger on one... |
