I have a really problematic CLD-S201 I would like to save. Someone had been tinkering around in there since all of the adjustment points were set to their max or min so I returned them to their mechanical center.

I have laserdiscs playing pretty good now but I can't perform the tangential or centering adjustments because every time I try to play a CD (in test mode or not), it starts spinning at what seems to be CAV speed. Does anyone know what might cause this? The two switches the white levers toggle seem fine (screen updates in test mode when I toggle them by hand).
