Hello, please your help.

I have a Pioneer CLD-99 laserdisc player whose power board burned out and obiously the player don't turn on. The disc tray is locked and it is just above of the power board so it do not permit removing it. I would like if someone can tell me what is the technical procedure in order to manually unlock the tray and thus be able to open it and have access to the power board of the equipment.

Thanks a lot.

Eduardo.

The loading belt should be at the right side of the tray. For your piece of mind you might unscrew and lift the PCB for the audio/video circuitry to gain wider access to the belt and then you would turn this belt until the tray lifts up and eventually pulls back against you. Now you should have complete access to the power supply.
You might also look at the search bar to the upper right and type in what you are looking for, it will save you some time getting an answer.
