Post subject:  [DVL-909] Won't close door
Hello.

I have a Pioneer DVL-909 since 2007. It is not closing the drawer. Once it is open, when a press to close, it do a buzz sound and to do not close. If I give a small help pushing the drwaer, then it closes and works.
How can I solve this trouble? Thanks!

Is it more of a screeching sound? If so, more than likely you have a stretched loading belt. If you have never replaced your loading belt all this time, it's due for a new one. The part you need is VEB1184.

The location of the belt is on left side toward the front of the player and I believe you will probably need to remove the tray to access it. Here is a pic of what is looks like on my CLD-59 (similar chassis)....

Thanks a lor for your answer. I was using the ld few time ago, and sometimes when I on, it makes some noise, like a buzz, and open the tray. In this situation, I need to press "play" in order to works correctly. I will try to find the belt to replace it.
