Bought used player that wouldn't power on. It plays now after I clipped the common shorted diode on the PS and replaced the blown fuse. It plays LD's CD's, DVD's, but the blue front panel DVD LED won't come on when playing DVD's. Before removing the front panel and testing that the LED isn't blown, has anyone had this issue before? ThX Update...turns out it's an incandescent bulb that was blown. Replaced it with led+resistor. |
