Hello, i will try to explain my problem because I'm bad with english I bought a DVL-700 years ago, the player worked very well at all... until I killed it (It was my fault, I plugged it into 230 volts So what can be the cause of this? ¿PSU? I dont know anything of LD repair not even remove the tray for check it ![]() With a new fuse I got this read if it can help. |

If the arc-suppressor diode is shorted, the fuse will blow every time you apply power. This is a component on the power-supply board right next to the fuse ; someone should be able to point it out to you. Snip one lead, & the problem should be solved temporarily, but you will want to replace the component for continued safe operation. |

If the surge protector was bad it would read "0" ohms. So either the L1 coil is bad or most likely the bridge diode is blown. |
