What you do guys think

Looks like this we beauty could go cheap but do you think it would be worth the trouble. The seller says the player was dropped and it knocked something loose but also says it worked perfectly before hand. I asked them to clarify if it still powers on but they said no.

I'm think if I get it got a few £ then its worth the gamble. Personally I don't mind stripping her down to try and problem solve the issues but was just wondering what you lot think.

If it's cheap I don't see the harm in it. I like mine.

There's a lot of parts inside though, maybe if you're lucky one of the DVD boards broke at worst.

Partswise I'd say go for it.
Dropped? with 4 feet missing....? I suspect it was used as a donor player at one point.
Might never work again without an expensive repair.
I avoid dvl units in general. There's just to much that can go wrong inside.

If the price is right... why not I imagine

Sold for just under £40. I went £20 max which I think was fair for the potential damage to it. I noticed the missing feet myself so asked the question and the seller said it was sold to them without feet and no other components had been removed. Anyway its gone now.

Just wonder did anyone on here grab it?

Prices are really increasing. I got my DVL 919E in a similar state (had been dropped and two pieces broken) in 2011 for the price of 99p!
