Hi Does anyone know how to modify a 909 to allow DTS on DVD,s My European player I bought will not play Pal laserdiscs, if this mod has been done to my player it apparently disables pal laserdiscs playback I wish to remove the mod to allow pal laserdiscs playback I just want to know where the mid is? I've been reading that resistors have to be replaced |

Looks like the original page was lost... (mr. peabody voice) but thankfully my wayback machine worked perfectly as usual, and here is a link: https://web.archive.org/web/20000312043 ... -91eng.htm The original resistor values are in the DVL-909 (US version) service manual which I think is floating around out there. Basically the mod was badly done, since for the 909E it's best to make it switchable so you can get PAL playback back! |
