Hi, I'm trying to find the problem of a Pioneer DVL-909 that will not open or close and the laser unit will not move either. At the moment when I switch it on it says "2 0C/F8-2B" in the Display. Sometimes that might change to 2 0C/F8-00" or instead of "F8" it sometimes says "F9". Thanks |

Hello! Did you check the available manuals? http://manuals.lddb.com/LD_Players/Pioneer/DVL/DVL-909/ These codes looks more like you are in Test Mode than in normal mode. However, usually power off/on will get you back to normal mode. Julien |

Sometimes that might change to 2 0C/F8-00" Most likely no or poor connection between the upper dvd and the lower ld boards. can happen if/when one of the cables that connect them breaks. could also be an issue with the psu though I'd check those cables first. |
