Post subject:  [DVL-909] Broken rail / where to get spare parts?

hello,

I just came across this great forum and am happy to see that there are still some Laserdisc fans out there.

My DVL-909 is broken and unfortunatley I just got the info from the authorised repair firm that the spare parts aren't available anymore.
It seems like Pioneer discontinued them. Now I don't know what to do and how to find those spare parts:

1x HOLDER :VNL1712
1xGUIDE RAIL:VNL1722

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Motor holder is easy enough to find online.

The rail can be found for 6-7 euro new.
Had a broken one myself with my 909 . Previous owner tried to repair his faulty player only to mess things up for the worse. Lot's of plastics changed

You are right Landgraf no longer supports LD-players. Pioneer moved their repairing spare part support to independent repair shops.

The player is already at such a repair workshop and that diagnoses was from them. I bought the player as a broken one on ebay for 100 bucks. I don't know why it is broken.
Pioneer refused to deliver those parts and also claims that they don't support LD Players anymore so if all the spare parts are sold out this is the end so to speak.

Where do you find those ? Everwhere I search it seems to be sold out.

thanks for your help, guys
