Post subject: [DVL-919E] Power problem, does absolutely nothing

The day before I've played The Big Lebowski without any problems. I turned it off by remote, then by power button. Next day I want to turn it on, nothing, no LED, no red light, 100% dead.

The fuse is still OK, what do you recommend I look at first? I've got 350 LD's but only one player. I also have a CED player but that won't do any good ;-)

Thanks in advance!

It's the power supply, but without looking at it you cannot tell where the problem is. If you are lucky, it is just a capacitor.

I think there is another capacitor that acts as a surge protector, that goes and you lose power. I believe it can be taken out and replaced/bypassed
but I'm no expert, I just recall reading another thread on this recently, dig around you might find it.
