| Post subject: | [DVL-909] DVD Tray will not open |
I have just bought a Laser Disc Player from the UK which plays discs just fine but after playing a dvd the disc will not eject.I could hear a motor running which sounded like the loading motor running but apparently this is not so. No problem playing and ejecting LD's. Has anybody any ideas please. |

Does the LD tray still work correctly? If so, it sounds like there is a disc stuck in the DVD tray mechanism. Remove the tray and flip it over. There is a white lever on the left track. Pull this all the way toward the edge of the tray and see if you can move the DVD tray at all. The try locks in 2 places, all the way closed and all the way open. If you cannot move it by hand, you'll have to take the rails off to separate the DVD tray from the LD tray. Forcing the trays may damage the disc that is stuck. |
