hi,
this player uses a stupid cable that hooks to a 12 pin jack to do calibrations. apparently it has switches that let you turn the tracking, and thread servo off..to adjust some pots.
anyways.
I'm trying figure out how those switches would have worked. it has 5 signal pins, plus ground..for the readings
the control pins are labeled F, E, 4d, sled 0, sled -, and Rf
F, and E are inputs to the focus amp. 4d goes the servo chip.
sled 0......
well anyways. any electronics experts can look at the schematic and tell me how to turn off the servos to do the adjustments.
I hate these sony machines!!!
