Hi,

I came across a Sony LVR-4000P CRVdisc recorder that came with some discs. I've played the discs in an LVA-4500P (CRVdisc playback only unit), and that works fine, so I guess the recordings are ok. Playing them back on the LVR-4000P however has some problems, the most obvious being severe ghosting as can be seen in this picture:



Anyone familiar with this recorder or similar? I've not been able to find a service manual anywhere.

I haven't even tried recording anything yet -- thought it would be good to fix known problems first.
