Hi guys, just bought a Sony MDP-605GX but it's not turning on at all. The Standby LED isn't even lighting up. I checked the Power-Board on the inside but couldn't find any problem. Everything is supplied with power. Is there a generel solution (Beside the really bad capacitors)? Thanks in advance! |

I would start by taking a look at the service manual and tracing through the board with a multimeter. If you see any clear signs of bad capacitors, I would go ahead and replace them. Service manual here: http://manuals.lddb.com/LD_Players/Sony/MDP/ |
