I made a mistake wiring an AC-3 board in a 900U, I connected the PCB's +5v to pin 3 of the P23201 header instead of pin 2 (pin 3 is labeled 2 but I didn't realize until it was too late).

It now blows two fuses when powering on. Does anyone have any tips on where to start diagnosing?

This was a careless mistake and is not the norm for my work.

Zaxour, a Laseractive expert, pointed me to the schematic and noted that I collected it to the -9V pin

Also, I don't believe that schematic is in the LDDB database, so it could be pulled in

Fixed it

Zaxour thinks it could be a blown s2vb10 bridge rectifier (d003), since it's blowing both 9V fuses. 5V is shorted to ground in the unit too, and 5V is fed from voltage regulations fed from 9V. I'm going to desolder the rectifier and see if it's blown.

Update: the player is working again after replacing 2 caps on the 5v line
