I have a Panasonic lx-670 that sometimes when I load a disc, it ejects it right away. Does not do this all the time but once in a while the disc goes in and then immediately ejected. When it does take the disc, all is fine but was wondering what is causing this. Any help? Thank you.

Questions so that we can eliminate some things, hopefully.
1. Does this happen with the remote, front button, or both?
2. All discs or only with the same disc?
Anybody else have any ideas?

It happens with loading on the player. I don't usually use the remote to load it.
Happens on different discs but does not always do it. Disc gets pulled in and it makes a weird noise then spits it back out. When it does work, it works fine.

If you are comfortable with it, I would suggest taking the cover off and observing the player when loading a disc. The intermittent problem may show itself.
