Post subject:  Deciphering Pioneer Type/Destination Codes

I've been looking at properly defining Pioneer region codes for LD players.

A few excerpts from service manuals:
WY 220-240, DVD R2
WY/RD 220-240 DVD R4
WY/RE 220-240 DVD R5
RD/RA 110-240 DVD R1
RD/RC 110-240 DVD R3
RB 110-127,220-240 DVD R3
RL 110-127,220-240 DVD R3
RAM 110-240 DVD R6
KU 120 US
KC 120 CA
SD 110,120-127,220,240
RD 110-127, 220-240

This seems to indicate:
K 120V only
W 220-240V only
R 110-240V (two settings)
S 110-240V (four settings)

Y Europe
U USA
C Canada
AM Asia Mainland (RAM is confirmed China in SM)
D General Export (from non-LD SMs)
B Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong?)
L Traditional Chinese (Taiwan?)

Second part of DVL type corresponds to DVD region.

Does anyone have further insight into these?
