On its way to me is a Pioneer LaserDisc Reference Disc (1996) [GGV1016] - coming from Instrumental Parts...not cheap but available. I made the mistake late last year of putting off the purchase of a Pioneer LaserDisc Reference Disc (2001) [GGV1069] from Donberg Electronics....they are now NLA from Donberg.! I wonder if the GGV1016 from Instrumental Parts is possibly the only Ref Test Disc now available to purchase at this time.?! https://instrumentalparts.com/ld-test-disc-12-ggv1016/ |

As far as I know. Good call on purchasing one, even if you had to ship it international. It is absolutely worth it if you do not have a test disc. I might even argue that GGV1016 is better for people just starting out. Without a doubt it is superior to GGV1069 on Level II capable players like the LD-V8000. |

With GGV1016 it is better to keep the tray in and just eject for any adjustments you can't reach. I have a GGV disc that looks nearly destroyed that I use for initial testing/coarse adjustments. |
