Why.... not simply look as the back cover of Pioneer LaserDisc Reference Disc (2001) [GGV1069]?

I'm puzzled...

Some discs are actually for some players, I remember Grasshopper saying this.
I don't remember any of what he was telling me, he knew too much tech stuff that I could never absorb.

I've only ever used the 8" GGVs. I have a few different ones but at a glance they all look the same. I think my beater disc is GGV1015 that I use for actual adjustments then check final adjustments with a pristine GGV1069.

HE010 is not a repair disk, but it's a well done demo with test signals at the end. I have an old ld-decode cap up on my Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBnO-uK7XKc) and I'll probably do a 3 or 4-capture stacked Domesday Duplicator version in the next month or two.

There are definitely subtle differences, but GGV1069 is by far the easiest to get a clean copy of, and it's good for any popular 90's player. If you're at all interested in calibrating a player, buy at least one copy while there's still new inventory of it.

My apologizes to C+ and others for being late responding..Im buying a home 1500 miles away ..what a pain ,and for posting Mistaken Information.....A guy a did business with years ago ,when I was actively collecting (Im at it again)..sent me that list with Prices...Dumb me ,I thought that meant he had them in stock...Nope!...He says now that he can get them ,if I want to put them on his watchlist......Needless to say ,Im not happy with him...mostly ,because Ive passed on this erroneous info....
After this I did a search for the GGV1069 and found it on 2 sites....PacParts ,who are the worse...and a Company in Ireland...So I waited to comment until I received it...Ive ordered parts from a few companies recently ,they took my money ,then weeks later said Opps and refunded it...I found out PacParts wasnt delivering ,when I saw the refund on my CC...not a word from them...So ..anyway...I ordered the GGV1069 on 4/27 ,the Disc was delivered today....Cost about the same as PP...its not cheap ....$82 with shipping....Its New...and by searching their site ,they may have another 1 or?...they also have a odd collection of parts for Pioneer LDs....I did a search for CLD and HLD ...the pic shows what came up...v202 and 2950 and X9 parts ,,seem to be nice folks....Maura @ https://www.donberg.ie/
Once again...my apologizes to all...hope this information helps someone...I think my next thread will be about finding Parts for our obsession

Not cheap at all!

HLD-X9
https://www.donberg.ie/descript/d/deb_1169.htm => EUR 30.90
https://www.donberg.ie/descript/v/vxx_2014.htm => EUR 23.29
https://www.donberg.ie/descript/v/vwt_1138.htm => EUR 457.90

CLD-D925
https://www.donberg.ie/descript/p/piab_146.htm => EUR 7.90 (VEB1184)
https://www.donberg.ie/descript/v/vwt_1110.htm => EUR 259.90

And then you add 23% VAT.

Julien

VWT1138 Laser Pickup. Ya think the Donberg price was high...check these out..
https://www.pacparts.com/part.cfm?part_ ... fg=Pioneer
https://encompass.com/item/5612013/Pioneer/VWT1138/
https://instrumentalparts.com/cld-pick-up-assy-vwt1138/
I know from experience ,you can’t trust the alleged availability...

Hers the reason they didnt charge me a VAT

“ prices are plus 23% VAT (only for irish customers and private customers within the EU)”

You won't be charged VAT if the goods are being exported outside the EU. Now includes the UK too. However it does leave you susceptible to taxes and fees upon delivery at the destination address.

I've seen this site a couple of years ago and forgot about it after looking for parts for my 925. Thanks for the reminder!
