WOW, after my post I watched it streaming, I only saw the trailer before I posted.
Incredible amount of influence in this, some from USA and Japan. Sorry again to hijack the topic, but cool film, not amazing but very odd. Had some liquid television feel, those early pieces, even some early 30s betty boop style, and even the early 80s of I believe the comic artist Knight, can't remember his first name? Did some of the early Spider Ham and there were some other artists of that era in comics who did that thick line stuff, can't remember the other names now.

Dead Leaves is probably as odd as it is cool. I'm happy to share its existence with you. lons_vex wrote: I watched Dead Leaves back in 2005, and indeed it is one of the odder things I came across. I had no idea there was an UMD version of it, I watched it on DVD. I'm quite certain it was licensed and officially subtitled back in the day. I never knew about the DVD release. I guess that does make sense though. It was probably much better quality all around.
