I wonder what is this connector intended for ?
Some manuals state "for future use".
Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_Disc_subcode) says it is to output subcode or subchannel data from a CD.

I have a CLD-1450 with this connector and would like to know if I can get any data from it, such as frame or chapter info.

I also want to know the pinout meaning and the protocol used.

Is there any reference document for it or someone who can help me ?

My only guess is that it’s for a CD+G decoder. For the time that was a rather feature rich player and it doesn’t lack much else.
