That legend title row does not appear for me on the collection page, only on search (also I didn't notice ).
The one in the sidebar is a valid argument, but people focus on what they are looking at, and the help legends are out of view when you are focusing at the icons with your eyes. This is a UX (user experience) thing, it allows the users to find out about what something does immediately without needing to take your eyes off of it. And consider that you are viewing the site on a widescreen monitor, the sidebars on both sides will be naturally out of focus of your eyes. You have to *search* for any legend (which takes your eyes off of whatever you were looking at, breaking your flow).
So the legend on the sidebar is just "too far away" when you are focusing on the item listing.
Plus one of the sidebars shows affiliate links and after using the internet for so long I naturally tune those out without paying attention to them.

Do we really need extra redondant information on *every* images?
It's not like it gets in the way in any form, it doesn't even show up unless you pull the mouse there.
Like I said it's a minor detail, but it would improve user experience.
