Would it be possible to change the search so that dashes in reference numbers are not taken into account? There have been a few titles that I have searched for but because the number was entered slightly incorrectly (by the erroneous inclusion or lack of a dash) they didn’t come up.

Hello!

The title search bar allows for basic/accurate Ref # matching to save some time, but for more flexible Ref # searching, you should use the Search > Reference.

Ex: PILF2800 will fail on a title search but works on a ref search:

https://www.lddb.com/search.php?search=pilf2800&sort=title
=> none

https://www.lddb.com/search.php?reference=pilf2800&sort=ref
=> 1 hit

For multiple ref #, you can use the bulk engine => https://www.lddb.com/bulk.php

Ah got it - thanks, I'll use the search link instead.

Should I correct titles where the ref is slightly wrong? Not sure whether very tiny edits like that take too much time on your end - I don't want to pile up a load of anal modifications.

Well, ideally it should like on the spine of the cover or the disc labels, where I suppose most people (including myself) look for the Cat# ?
