A little something for the 10 000th LD sold on LDDB ?

Today : 9 692 LD's sold since 2004.
The 10 000 LD's Barrier will soon be broken, maybe not in 2011 but surely in early 2012.

When that happens, to celebrate the moment, could we have some interesting stats on the home page like for example :

Top 10's (like in 10 thousand)

- Top 10 : Most sold LD titles ... Matrix ? The Hauting ?
- Top 10 : Most expensive LD titles (that were acually sold...) ... say, The Cell ?
- Top 10 : Cheapest LD titles ... ID4, Forrest Gump ?
- Top 10 : (insert your idea here)
- etc...

Of course, these are some stats I would like to reach even when the euphory of the moment has passed away.
So they should land in an appropriate section of LDDB.

Top 10 highest bids ever placed and also who placed them would be really interesting!
Top 10 most sold music titles
Top 10 music titles in people's collections

I think we could yet reach the 50 000th if you just validate a small part of the 1000+ waiting LD inserts

It would be easy to validate if everyone could read a Japanese title... or just even read a spine number correctly

Yeah, like I said before, make the insert with a nice ??? title and I'll provide the Japanese Title in an update late :crazy:

Or even easier, resubmit it with only Title/Reference, I can easily merge both together and make sure only non-??? titles make it to the database

I think we will reach 10,000 as Christmas period is always a great time for collectors to spend some time tracking down that elusive disc they promised themselves 20 years ago.
