HD-DVD Update will help me to know a little more about what's in the many editions of one movie (US/Europe, Japan ?) and if it's worth adding to my collection.

HD-DVD Add to Shop will help me buy some of theses titles from one of the many trustworthy seller in the small LDDB society.

I'm also looking forward to HD-DVD update.

There are actually a small enough amount of HDDVDs that it would be possible to own them all. I have about 100 right now and you can still get them on the cheap. Though, I am so cheap that wont spend more then a buck or 2 for them, lol.

HD DVD updates are in, but the part to deal with multiple soundtracks, languages and subtitles is not ready yet.

I have this odd HD-DVD in my collection and I wanted to add it today but couldn't because...
It's from Australia, and the country release list doesn't even include Australia.
So what now? Just add it without selecting any country?

You will also find the Collection/Wishlist stats on ALL tiltes now (now only LD anymore).

it could also be nice to have the ability to sort by type.
For example, if I look for all "Terminator 2" releases, if have a big list of mix LD, HD-DVD, D-VHS, etc.

The only option I have is "Show only LD".

I would like to be able to sort them, D-VHS first, then HD-DVD and then LD.
Much more easier to read/use.

I'll stick to "LD only" as the default control for now. This is still the LaserDisc Database

What I can do though, if you're seeing a mix of format, is to turn each of the format icon into a "Display only titles like this format" to sub-select only HD DVD or only LD, etc.
