Also, the first discs didn't identify themselves to the player so the wrong disc could be played with the wrong film - there were documented cases of The Flintstones being run in DTS with the Jurassic Park discs accidentally played - and the player synced them and played the wrong disc.

 That sounds funny as if both films include dinosaurs therefore the soundtrack to Jurassic Park syncs with The Flintstones. I might try this out.

Hello..!

The THX Broadway intro on YouTube that you linked to is waaaay different than the one on LDs ..

THX Broadway intro on LD doesn't say 'the audience is listening' , rather it does say 'Mastered and duplicated for optimal video and audio performance'

I hope I'm inputting the correct field on my updates, or can't you find the right clip on YouTube??

My YouTube search was too lazy, links updated!

Also updated the THX Broadway thumb picture.

I remember some of those dolby digital intros from early DVDs.

Kinda makes me nostalgic in a way.

It was a Dolby EX intro, maybe only AURORA made it to LD?

I thought the Rain trailer was on U-571, but it was a long time ago that I saw that disc.
And that movie is pretty bad, so I don't want to see it again :)

On joe's request, I updated the LD display format to let you click on the (if known) Dolby or THX intro/logo and find all other titles sharing the same sequence.

For RAIN, so far only U-571 (2000) [PILF-2862] and Crimson Rivers, The (2000) [PILF-2869] have be confirmed indeed:
