Get a Gmail or Yahoo account, they are free and just use it for pictures to lddb.

I know there's only one person doing all of the updates, including adding submitted covers and back covers.

I've also seen posts in this thread where its been reported that hundreds have been added at one time.

However I have the same question the originator of this thread asked. How long does it usually take---on average---for a cover pic that meets the requirements to get added?

Does it usually take a week?.....a couple of weeks.....a month?.....more time? I'd just like a ball park figure.

(I'm not trying to harass anyone nor am I complaining.)

I try take an evening at least once a month for a massive upload and, usually, covers with a username, LDDD#, good quality/size/etc. are processed in priority. If the username/LDDB# are missing or if it will require manual rework, I put them on the "to be processed later" pile.

Photos sent directly from a phone are not fun to process, it's better to use a computer and follow the tutorial.

Cover submission question: If I have a cover/box that's missing an obi and there's no cover image yet in the database, should I submit a photo without the obi anyway and update the page to indicate where the obi should be in the picture? (In this case I've seen a picture in the wild that shows it would go on top.)

If an entry only has a single front photo, should we submit both a new front and back or is submitting only the back ok?

Hello!

A photo even without a obi is better than no photo at all so you can sent it over.
And if you know where the obi should be, it's also good to send an update for that.

Maybe someone will later send a photo with obi.

Took a while to find them... you didn't send them to cover@ so they didn't hit the right account!
