I'm not sure if I'm missing this (a setting in the user control panel, perhaps), or if the feature isn't implemented, but I think phpBB allows a box at the bottom of the screen, when viewing a thread, into which a reply can be typed directly. This is more convenient than hitting the "Reply" button & going to another page for the form. |

This is a common MOD but it will require manual modification of the style templates -- I'm not using the 2 defaults one shipped with phpBB -- and is on my list of things to try  Julien |

Does this have to be added on a per-forum basis? I see it is not available in the "Technical questions, Repair, Troubleshooting, Advices" area. |

Good catch! Weird, because I initially used the "Submit and enable quick reply in all forums". I did it again. It should be okay now. |
