I bought a job lot of laserdiscs today that included this

As far as I can tell all of the details on the database record are correct - how do I add it to my collection?

also, how do I add more information since several fields are empty?

Note 28/12/13 - I've entered my own version with all the details I could provide.

That's actually the best way to tell me "this is legit information".

I can see now 3 submissions for this title with consistent information, that tells me that it's time to validate it and merge all provided information into one entry.
Oldest submit and/or the one with the most information gets the "Added by" credits.

I own alot of LaserDiscs that are awaiting validation. Is there a way to add them to my collection? Further, it would be cool if there were a 'Add to My Collection' tick box when first submitting a title to the database.

That's possible on updates because the title already exists but for submission, a lot of times it ends up being a duplicate and I have to merge it to an existing title, or delete it because it's simply a mistake (people adding VHS, or entering several times "Star Wars" under reference "STAR WARS" and no additional data, etc.).

I'm looking at the way Discogs.com is working but that would require a major rework of the submission process and database modifications.

is there some way you could put a feature to show the last 5-10 that you submitted?? or something like that.
i know in the past i submitted some but forgot i had to add to my collection once they were added to the database.

I could inform the author each time a submission has been validated/merged/rejected, that's possible.

Julien, that would be wonderfull as I still have alot of titles that I own that have yet to be updated/validated. Some have been waiting along time. In the future (as of now) I will only be submitting titles that I own a copy of.
