Is it possible to have a couple of additional data fields added to the search results display screen?
I am approaching this as a seller looking to increase my efficiency listing items in my shop.

Many times when I search for a movie's catalog Reference number the system comes up empty.
Then when I try searching for it by the Movie Title I'll get back a big string of query results.
Sometimes 10 or more title matches and often many of them are way too similar to quickly differentiate.

Now, for someone with a speedy internet connection, it probably isn't a big deal to load up 10 or 15 pages, just to ensure I find the correct one with corresponding artwork and specs for my title. However, I do not have a fast internet connection and it's kind of a pain. Seems like time that could be better spent. I am just a hobbyist in the sellers game here but, for many others time is money so it would seem important to be efficient.

A recent example for me was 'I 6002' or 'Citizen Kane'.
The tiny little numbers printed on the cover (spine) look more like 16002, which returns a completely different title.

Searching for 'Citizen Kane' gives 12 entries, all of which are NTSC and only 3 are non-US copies. In this specific case there was only 1 of the 12 with a matching I6002 number so it wasn't so bad. (Perhaps not the best example) However that one item had a barcode and my copy does not. So I'm prompted to submit a release and have it sit for 'X' number of weeks before it gets added.

There was also a version with ??? listed as the Reference so I feel compelled to check that one too. Then find out it's a CED. In fairness the little icon on the left tells me this but, bare with me here.

Other times there will be multiple copies of a Title listed with the exact same Reference number, and I have to check them all to hopefully find a match.

My request is to have some additional fields display in the search results.
I'm thinking the UPC and/or ISBN numbers. (Or possibly 'none' if no numbers are present.)

I feel this would help to reduce the amount of time I spend hunting through all the listings to find the one I wish to list. Not sure how much of a burden it would put on the system running the queries but, it has to be less than having multiple users loading up 5-10 Title pages after every search.

Perhaps users don't want this extra info. OK, fair enough. Perhaps it could be made selectable, with a tick box or something. Then users would have the option to display these fields or not.

Keeping in mind that I have no experience with what is involved in coding such an option so please forgive me if this request puts an unreasonable load on an already over burdened programmer. Just an idea that would help expedite folks listing their items on the site and possibly reduce countless page loads for incorrect versions.

Quick question: did you try a search based on the UPC?

UPCs are typically 12 or 13 digits (assuming they're not so old that the check digit is missing). In that field you can enter the X first digits and the search engine will output everything that's found. If the list is too long, add a number to the search parameter in the URL and load a more refined value.

Example: Citizen Kane with only the first 6 digits.
=> 300 titles found, clearly not precise enough

Citizen Kane with the first 8 digits
=> 299, hardly an improvement

Citizen Kane with the first 10 digits
=> 6 titles, among them is Citizen Kane

Alternatively, if you have a list of complete UPCs, you can load them by batches of 50 in the bulk upload by setting "Target=Shop" and "ID=UPC".

I did not, most of my titles are older ones without any UPC codes on them.

What I was looking for is the info displayed on the search results screen. To show if a title listed has a barcode or not would help me to quickly identify which one is likely to be mine.

Another option might be, the number of sides, for instance.
