This isn't a feature request, but I'm unsure of the proper category since it's site specific.

I sent a request to DuckDuckGo search engine to add LDDB as one of the "bangs". If you don't know DuckDuckGo, you can type your search then use an exclamation point with the site name as a shortcut to directly use that sites search engine. I.e. "laserdisc !w" will take you directly to wikipedia's search page with the result for laserdisc, or directly to it if it's the only result.

So, you can now search for a laserdisc i.e. "con air !lddb" and it will use http://www.lddb.com/search.php?search=%s for searching.

I tried with !lddb and it works fine indeed.

For direct search from your browser, LDDb also exists in standard search engine plugin that you can add directly from your browser.
