You're not in trouble at all.
I initially added the 48h lock-out period to avoid people creating fake accounts/having fun creating fake transactions but there didn't materialize as often as I feared.
On there other hand, there are a lot of impulse buying or users creating an account just because they found the single title there were looking for for some time.
In the end I removed the 48h block but forgot to update the documentation.
I will do that now.
