VCD could easily be copied and would be as taunting a task as cataloging VHS... They had to put extra "This is an original, copyrighted VCD" sticker in Asia since 99% of the offer was pirate!
Plus, a UMD Database (inspired by LDDb and administered by a LDDb user -
precertvideo) already exists:

There's a problem with the site you mention above though. The admin there is not updating the database. I've only got 11 movies on UMD (all released in the U.S.), only 2 of which are in the UMD Database. I submitted the 9 missing titles (7 of them as soon as I learned here of the site you mention). They are still pending. He/she never replies to my attempts at communication. Not on that site anyway. There are nearly 500 titles in there or are pending. More than I expected actually.
Would it be possible for me to use the template for the LDDb to create a database for the formats that I collect that aren't available here? UMDs, VCDs (over 160 commercial releases in my collection already) and DVDs? All I need is access to the template that you use, and perhaps you could provide a link on this site for my proposed site, as you do for the UMD database (which appears to have been orphaned).
If I were to start with my collection alone that would be a good start as I have nearly 1,700 DVDs (Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4). The other members of the LDDb site could submit their titles as they wish. Quite frankly my collection is HUGE and still growing. I add 5 to 25 DVDs to my collection every week.
I've tried several of the existing databases and I dislike them all, because they aren't designed as well as the LDDb.
STAY AWESOME!
