Would it be possible to add a field for the director of the film?
For example, if I hear/read about a certain movie/director I may want to see what else I have from them in my collection.
However, I can't search/sort by director so if I wanted to see all of my Hitchcock LD titles I'd have to know them by name which doesn't always help when I'm not sure what's on the shelf in the first place.
I can't tell you how often I've looked for films by director or how that might set the tone or mood for an session. "Let's do a Kubrick marathon!", for example. I know most of Spielberg's work but I may miss a few that aren't as as obvious or mainstream and those end up being the ones I want to see. With a large collection we tend to pull out familiar stuff leaving the rest just sitting there.
It may be an easy thing to add a field and let people populate it like what happened with the AC3 trailers. Maybe not, but I do think it might add value.
