I feel dumb asking this, I just have to be missing something - been coming to LDDB for years and never figured it out.

On the left side of the main screen there is a box you can type in, underneath are two links "Search/Advanced". I don't get it. If I fill in a title, clicking "Search" or "Advanced" just takes me to those respective screens, with nothing filled in. Entering a search term and simply pressing Enter has no effect.

Am I misunderstanding this field?

after you type the title that you are looking for, don't press search or advanced just hit enter on your keyboard.

if you need to do a more detailed search then you don't type anything and just click on search or advanced.

i personally only use the type title hit enter or advanced then use the options i need.

The search box will work on title and on reference as well (you need to be more precise on references, like PILF-28*).

Feel free to put a lot of wildchars (*) to make search smarter such as abba*hits*.

I realized the search is not using the cover and original titles, I must fix this ASAP.

Working now, just forgot to remove a comment in my code

Example: "Dead Alive" will find "Braindead"
