A few times now I've spent some hours trawling through someone's shop here on LDDB, adding LDs to the cart as I go, and then at the end I find my cart is empty. I have successfully made a purchase from the shop here so I know that functionally it's working to some degree. Is it just that there is a really tight timer on the shopping cart? Is this a problem others have?

It could be a cookie/session time out that resets the cookies but it should not expire too fast.

The CART is not permanent though, this would require a major code upgrade to save state in database instead of cookies, I don't have time to do this right now.

I hope you do not mind if I make this suggestion as a possible "work-around" solution: When you are looking at discs in a store, instead of adding the ones you want to your cart each time, open their listing in another browser tab, then go back to your tab for the store's list again. When you are done choosing, go to each tab and add each one to your cart in a short time. Then go back to the store's main/list page and "refresh" the page (the F5 key on most desktop computers). See if all of your choices are there now. If so, you can then checkout as desired.
