Maybe I'm being dense, but I've tried to contact a seller via PM and after "submit", my message remains in the Outbox forever.

it remains in the outbox until the addressee reads it. unfortunately in your case your seller has not read your message yet. Other than a few of the regular sellers here I noticed most seller don't pay much attention to their shop here.

This is why I "auto-close" shops after more than 180 days of no-activity from the seller to keep them as relevant as possible.

He already received an email notification when PM was sent. If he doesn't/cannot read the message, there's little I can do to help here.
