Post subject:  Trouble with data base loading disc collection  Topic is solved

I loaded some of my collection into the data base back in 09/10 and everything went well. Later on I loaded a good deal more into it and it never registered. I kept checking back and it never showed up. Anyone have this problem?

I've only ever manually entered my titles into LDDB.com however I have encountered cases where I added a title to my collection only to find it didn't get added at all.
I'm not sure what happened as I have not been able to reproduce on demand but there definitely is a glitch somewhere in the system.

I have also never added titles into my collection any way other than manually, one by one. However, I too have noticed on occasion that titles I am sure I had added were later not in my collection listing. I recall that this happened to me on both U.S. releases of The Boys from Brazil (CBS/Fox pan & scan and Pioneer Special Edition). I had owned the old pan & scan edition for a long time, but suddenly found that it was not logged in my collection. This has happened a few other times, but that's the only one I remember for certain. I'm not sure why this occurs, but it seems to be a very infrequent thing, at least in my case. It's never been troublesome enough that I felt I needed to report it to Julien. I will continue to keep an eye on it though.

Hello,

I have that problem that, sometimes, LDs get added to Collection/Wishlist but the owner ID is #0. For some reason, the user session gets lost and discs get added to the void. Since I can't can't track back who added this title, I purge the orphans once in a while.

I could never reproduce it myself and so my debug code hasn't been able to output anything relevant. I wonder if it's browser-dependent... A session expires but the browser keeps a local outdated copy?
