Post subject:  General SQL Error
I get this very often when trying to leave a comment..... Now i got it even to send a message. Admin, i cant even reply to your respond, thats why im trying to alert you here.

The error is:


General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x84\xF0\x9F...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

This is binary code in some format.... what kind of message are you trying to post?

I get this alert when i try to leave a comment on one of my thread, no matter which desktop/IP or my phone im using.
Also, im unable to reply on your message in my inbox, the same thing.

Would tend to say that you are trying to push characters not allowed in the database (some Cyrillic, Arabic, etc.).

Are you using any specific language encoding on your browser?
Could you force it to "English UTF-8"?

This version of phpBB only handles characters up to 3 bytes, 4 will get rejected.

No, not at all, actually my desktop and phone are both Windows and i did not even try to include emoji :(
