No I haven't have a chance to try it yet but quite confident it'll work. Thanks to the hint provided by blam1, The Panasonic LX-K780 is almost identical to the player I got, except some minor differences on the LED display panel. Thanks again to everyone's input & congratulations to LDDb for providing such a unique & useful platform for LD fans
