PAL Only: CLD-1200 CLD-1400 CLD-1600 CLD-2950 CLD-600
NTSC / PAL: CLD-1450 CLD-D515 CLD-D925 DVL-919E
The only ones I have direct experience with are the CLD-D925 and DVL-919E, both of which are excellent. The CLD-2950 is a step down, being equivalent to the CLD-D503 in the US. the CLD-2950, D515, D925 and DVL-919E are the only two sided players in this list. Certainly the DVL-909 can play analogue too. I think I'm right in saying that all non-Pioneer PAL players can play analogue too - so Sony, Philips, Marantz etc., it was only Pioneer who were so cheap as to remove the necessary circuitry. One other small area of incompatibility concerns the CX noise-reduction system on analogue discs. This was rarely used in the UK - pretty much only for Pioneer own-label discs. Earlier players had a "CX" button, but then someone had the bright idea of auto-switching based on a flag on the disc. However some early discs did not have the necessary flag encoded, and some later Pioneer players did away with the ability to switch the decoding on manually - so you end up playing a Pioneer CX disc on a Pioneer CX-capable player, but unable to switch on the CX decoding! The only disc I have like this is the UK "Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park" release. PS I believe the CLD-2950 was in fact PAL/NTSC
