Yeah, had to grab that one as a reminder that Willis wasn't always an action or dramatic actor

*sigh*

My Mario Brothers movie seems to have gotten lost in the mail. Seller was good and refunded me but it's a shame to lose something.

My Spaceballs Widescreen release is still looking like it's on its way though, should be here soon :)

Just got these two:

Computer Animation Festival: vol.1 (1993) [BVLX-154]
Virtual Sea (3D) (1994) [TOLS-1249]

Bought these from an Italian seller who was probably charging way too much for them, I initially offered 10eur for the Computer Animation Festival, half of his 20 eur BIN price, he countered it 15 so I looked through his store to find some other title I was interested and maybe save in shipping that way and offered 15 for both (the Virtual Sea had 30 eur BIN price) and he took it...

...I probably should've actually looked at the second one in the database first because it's only 20 minutes and I don't think it's even CGI. But it is in anaglyphic 3D and comes with unpunched goggles so that should be interesting at least. The first one I already owned a US version of but it was a rotter so maybe this JP release will be better; I'm also apparently now the only person in the database who owns this one? Probably because it's CLV and the US release is CAV, gah

Pretty sure I could get that Computer Animation disc for less than $5aud, not sure about the 3D one though. Is that weird stuff worth anything? I've seen some Space Shuttle discs (and some other space stuff too) it's all cheap. Also Japanese docos (NHK iirc).

Edit:
Just had a quick look to see what weird stuff is available (not mine but still listed), these are $3aud titles...
[Reveal] Spoiler:
Checking Six II : Classics + Jets [SC055-6106]

State of the Art of Computer Animation Volume 2 [AL48-0002]
CNN Desert Storm [ASLW-5002]
Computer Animation Festival Volume 1 [BVLX-154]
Computer Graphics Special [SS098-6022]
F-15J Eagle [BVLX-101]
International Airport [RLD-1004]
Seven Days in Space - A Week Aboard Space Shuttle Discovery [SC078-6059]
Space Disc Volume 4 : Voyage to the Planets - Voyager and Viking [SS098-0043]

Well unless you're specifically interested in that stuff (and I get a big kick out of oldschool, pre-Toy Story computer animation), then...well, even then it's only worth the amount you're willing to spend on it?

Unfortunately I make a lot of bad decisions, and I feel like a tool for having bought these at these prices, as nice as they may be.

Edited my previous post to include some stuff I can see at the moment.

$3aud is less than 2 euros.

I recognize some of those titles. The Computer Graphics Special is a Japanese version of Dream Machine #1: The Visual Computer (1986) [V1001L] but is bilingual. State of the Art of Computer Animation vol.1 (and vol. 2), as far as I can tell, is essentially just State of the Art of Computer Animation (1988) [ID5332PA] split into multiple releases, but I think vol.3 is unique to Japan.

Speaking of bad decisions I just ended up with a bunch of crap from Yamatoku and SHIPPING was $74. I'll have fun with all of it though.

Really interesting and great performances with better than expected mastering. Really enjoyed 10 Years After's performance. Never seen it or heard it before.

Got a bunch more from ebay cnsystems in Adelaide, all good discs, almost all with obi's. I got the Thin Red Line but no EC for one disc. Where can I buy more ECs?

Dumb question but what's an EC?

Elephant condoms or "onion skin sleeves" as they were also known as.

I've recycled some thick LP sleeves from work. Cost nothing.

What brand/type would you recommend? I have some cheep ones but they don't work with anything that has more than 1 disc.

They probably are, they aren't sealed as such but most of the ones I got this way have a flap.
Enclosed but can still breathe. They're all thick type from double plus LP and they're durable not thin crappy plastic.

I'm not sure if you can still get actual LD sleeves now the only things I've seen sold for that purpose are large LP sleeves.
I think Mark sold some, check his feedback (or maybe there's a review).

This is what worries me, they won't sit snug in the cardboard, or will bulge it out.
