Hi,

I have soylent green in the special edition 2761-62574-6
I'm little disappointed because in the audio track part, it is specified musical score.
After listening this track it appears to be a stereo one.
Do you confirm that musical score means stereo analogue track on 1 channel ?
If this is the case, it could be useful to specify it, because at first sight, i thought it was mono!

Thanks in advance,
Have a good day,

It’s all mono, mon amour. Sorry.

Digital is the complete movie in dual mono.

Analog is divided, Left is the entire movie sound, Right is the music soundtrack isolated.

This is fairly common on LDs of mono movies.

Hi,

I was sure to hear a little stereo so i did capture and expanded the stereo:
https://ufile.io/e842amdo
https://ufile.io/vxz9a8bc

Not full stereo, but also not full mono, beside the movie is from 1973!
I suggest to read the file on an wav editing tool like goldwave, or something else to see the little differences between the channels.

I couldn’t get your links to work on a phone so I haven’t heard them yet.

However this is a mono movie. It was released in mono in the theater. The LD makes no mention of a remix so I’m pretty sure it’s mono. The music store is %100 sure mono because it comes out of a single channel. If you select analog CH 2 sending it to both speakers you will still have mono, just dual mono. If software detects a difference between channels then it’s probably due to imperfections in the player. Getting stereo from one channel in this way is completely impossible.
