It was acting weird for the past few months and this morning it went completely crazy.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Strange-quot-Ghosting-quot-Image-Retention-on-Display/m-p/7515168#M208700

Asking HP USA to cover for it in Japan even though the warranty is only covering the USA (HP limitation) but I can't go to the USA right now and my company is in lockdown in California.

I can still process updates/new titles on my work laptop but the whole dev/test/database environment is quite long to re-setup... :-/

DO NOT BUY HP SPECTRE x360 laptops.
Tons of problems, not only for me, just check online...

Julien

I've seen people in North America complain about issues with HP products for probably, more than 10 years now?
But I haven't seen any serious issues with any HP or Compaq stuff myself.

That is a bit of a bummer Julien & I hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later but given all that is going on .....

Fingers crossed for you here.

Take care.

Better yet, buy a desktop unless you absolutely require the mobility.

Laptops use a lot less electricity, and yeah it's easy enough to move around the house.

I won't buy anymore HP, had a printer for only 6 months before ink was backing up and pooling inside so it wouldn't print.
Even with official ink.

Total garbage, stay away from HP and Canon.
Horrible stuff in the 90s, all our photo and video cameras were Canon and died in 2 years or less, much worse than Sony.

Shame.. I was thinking about updating a few covers to the database seeing as how I'm stuck at home. Would definitely pass the time. I got quite a few discs in the collection that dont have covers added yet.

Please add them  .

I have added covers in the past & (if of any use) Julien does get to them but it can take a bit of time.

Every cover helps.

Cheers

I definitely will. I'll dust off my old scanner. Scan two halves of the cover and marry them in photoshop. Should kill a lot of time.
