I feel that it would be nice to have a Laserdisc Game sub-category. In my opinion, these types of games are very important to video game history, and I just find them interesting in general.

I second this request. The subcategory could discuss the games (both released and unreleased), the various types of hardware and LD players used, and maybe even ways to emulate them (excluding ROM/disc image links of course).

Back 15 years ago it might have been interesting!

But today, there are very good websites dealing with them already:

https://www.dragons-lair-project.com/games/
https://www.msx.org/wiki/Category:LaserDisc

Maybe not worth re-inventing existing things?
