I checked it out before on there but decided against it. Is it like a picture gallery or is it an actual anime?

Here are some pics of the Dirty Pair box. This is a really nice, lavish set with great cover art and that great substantial feel that smaller digital discs simply cannot match. This box set has all of the TV episodes and the 10 OVAs. Here is the box, discs, and a book packed with illustrations: The 9 discs within the box: The images on the back covers form a giant puzzle with this result (another example of how awesome LD packaging is):

thanks for posting that dirty pair set. like i said before, i had one and remembered that the covers made an image, but couldn't rememeber all the details. the only other Japanese LD sets i have seen that make images are the Zillion set. the first 4 make an image and the last 4 make a game board. i'll try to post a picture of that since it's cool to see.

rein-o wrote: yeah, most of the anime that they have that was of interest i already own. was going to pickup the zillion set for 78 but then shipping would be another 70 and i already own it and don't have the extra for something i already have. I went for the Zillion set right before the sale ended, since they look like some very nice discs for such a cool slice of 80s laser tag anime. I have fond memories of a weird UHF station in my area that picked up a satellite channel called "Network One" that showed Zillion episodes as part of their "Japanimation" block back in the 90s, along with a bunch of other Streamline licenses like Nolandia and Eden from Dirty Pair, Golgo 13, Cagliostro and Mamo from Lupin and loads more. Now I need to track down a copy of Zillion: Burning Night to go with the series. The opening of Burning Night is great: the Zillion team forms a band and performs in a scene straight out of Streets of Fire. I have a Sega Master System, so maybe I should grab the Zillion carts for it too . Zillion: Burning Night summed up in a pic

Haven't seen any other parts of Zillion tho', but color me interested!

Got most of my discs today, but I did order two more before the sale ended so pictures will come once those arrive as well. Still, fast shipping and sturdy boxes makes me happy!
